Year 3 Learning from Home

Dear Year 3,

It was so lovely to see all your smiling faces again on Friday. Thank you for all the memories and the learning that we have shared in together this year. It has been a pleasure teaching and getting to know each and every one of you. I am so proud of how much you have achieved and how hard you have worked in school and at home over the past few months. You are all superstars!

Thank you mums and dads for all your support this year. On behalf of Mrs Nelson and myself can I also say a huge thank you for the lovely gifts we received on Friday. We were truly blown away by your kindness and generosity.

Boys and girls, all that’s left for me to say is good luck in Year 4 and keep working hard. Have a fabulous summer and I will see you around school in September,

Miss Jack xx

It’s time to say goodbye
Our year has come to an end,
I hope you’ve all had lots of fun
and count us as your friend.

We’ve watched you learn and grow
and change from day to day,
We hope that all the things we’ve done
have helped in some small way.

Although our time has finished
our smiles will never fade,
We won’t forget the happy times
or the memories we have made.

Love from

Miss Jack and Mrs Nelson xx

Good morning Year 3!

Below are a few more activities for you to enjoy over the next couple of days. I'm sure you've all been working very hard so far! I'm so proud of you all.

Now that home learning has commenced online here is my contact c2k email address rjack366@c2ken.net

In the unprecedented circumstances we face, unfortunately we will not be able to mark all set work and give pupil feedback that normally occurs in the life a classroom. Only work requested by the teacher will be required to be forwarded via the teacher school e-mail address. If you do not wish or it does not suit you to send work, there is no obligation to do so.

If you have completed your Easter writing activity, you can send a copy of it to my email. I would love to read your work!

Hello Year 3!
I hope you all had a lovely Easter and enjoyed lots of chocolatey treats like I did!

I have some maths and literacy activities for you to work on over the next couple of days. I have attached some guidance notes for parents so they can help you with your work. I understand that some of you won’t be able to print the worksheets – that’s ok, as some of today’s activities are practical.

You can complete any written work in your homework books or on a piece of paper. Parents can check your work for you. (Some of the activity sheets have answers attached).

It’s really important to keep reading! There is a great website where you can download some reading books. Parents can sign up and it’s really easy to use: https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/

Don’t forget to take a look at this week’s spellings and tables too (week 26).
I will also attach a handwriting booklet that can be printed at home and some weekly phonics activities that you can complete too.

I will add some new tasks for you to do on Wednesday. Enjoy your activities!
