WORLD BOOK DAY

We had a fantastic range of book characters in school this world book day! Year 7 took part in a creative writing workshop as part of the celebrations, creating their own mini story books.

Our Christmas Hamper Winners!

Our lucky winners will be enjoying lots of treats over Christmas after winning the Christmas hampers! Thank you to everyone who brought in items for the hamper and bought tickets.

Anderson Shelters

Year 7 created Anderson shelters at home this week. We are amazed with the creative ideas and approaches each child has taken to make their shelters. Take a look!

Santa Fun Run

Year 7 had lots of fun participating in the daily mile Santa fun run and encouraging runners from other classes.

World Kindness Day

As part of celebrating World Kindness Day, Edwards Primary School staff and pupils have raised money for The Northern Ireland Children's Hospice by having a crazy hair and sock day.

We also celebrated each other and the people who help us in school.

Rockets and Parachutes

Year 7 enjoyed a visit from SENTINUS to learn about the forces that make things fly! 

We made and launched our own rockets and then assembled and dropped parachutes.
